World Down's syndrome Day 2022 - a retrospective collective

Happy World Down’s syndrome Day! One of the most important days of the year, for today we take time to reflect on all the gorgeous and wonderful souls adding love, joy and sparkle to families worldwide.

Each year, I hope we get a little closer to a world of acceptance, education and love and a lot further away from a world of yesteryear, a world of prejudice, misunderstanding and fear.

As always, for more information about Down’s syndrome, visit futureofdowns.com an online community offering friendly support for parents and an up to date, balanced view of life with the condition.

There are wonderful Facebook groups for expectant and new parents. Search for PADS New Parents or PADS Great Expectations for pregnant mums - or visit Positive About Downs Syndrome (PADS)

For gorgeous photography to warm your heart, follow Nicole on Instagram - I’ve worked with Nicole on a few stories now, including the first one below. Her pictures are phenomenal.

I have written about and worked with some glorious families over the last year, thank you all for taking part, sharing your children with us, and trusting me with your stories. Here’s to you and here are your stories!
